This lens is being sold AS IS for the following reasons: There is a light haze that gets heavier near the permiter of the middle optic - it appears an attempt at cleaning this has been made before. There is quite a bit of what look like dust behind the front elelment, though this could be fungus and it is hard to tell what it is. There are a couple of tiny spots of separation in some of the inner optics. There is also a bit of oil on the aperture blades. The following which is outlined may affect image quality - particulary sharpness and contrast due to the optical defects. Aperture functioning may become less responsive with time and stick due to the oil. The lens is otherwise in good cosmetic condition on the exterior. Comes with both front and rear lens caps.
